Arataki Vistors Centre, Waitakere Ranges

Gripsert was used to upgrade public access ramps and platforms, replacing slippery and rotting decking timber and increasing safety. Arataki is set in bush surroundings in the stunning Waitakere Ranges to the west of Auckland. It is a popular destination for tourists.

Public Walkways

Gripsert is increasingly specified for council infrastructure projects, particularly public walkways, where safety is important. The grip factor of Gripsert well exceeds that of standard decking timber as shown by independent slip testing (reports available).

Picton 'Coathanger' Foot Bridge

This Picton landmark was recently upgraded using our Gripsert product. Because of the gradient of the bridge, Port Marlborough required a surface with a high grip factor to improve safety in icy conditions. Opus recommended Gripsert, which has been tested with a grip factor of .72, which well exceeds the minimum standard of .40.

Corbans Estate, Henderson

Construction of the junction between Corban's Estate Arts Centre and the extensive network of walkways/cycleways in the Henderson area. Winding through bush, alongside the streams, and bypassing the roads, the walkways are a great idea for a family outing!
